Billing questions
What exactly is a seat?
A billed membership on a paid organization: an organization owner or a member. Outside collaborators on a repository are not seats, and a person who belongs to three organizations is a seat in each.
When do minutes reset?
Included allowances reset on the first of the month. Package minutes never expire: a month spends its included minutes first, and only what it uses beyond them comes off a package.
What counts as a build minute?
Wall-clock time a Pillion-hosted runner spends on a job, rounded up to the minute per job. Queue time is not billed. Jobs on attached runners are not billed at all.
Do private repositories cost extra?
No. Private repositories are free for users; only the build allowance differs, at 200 minutes a month rather than 2,000. Storage quotas are hard and published rather than metered by surprise.
What does an organization get before it adds billing?
Everything except CI on its private repositories. It can create public and private repositories, push to both, and use teams, rulesets and the rest; its public repositories build on the included 2,000 minutes a month. Adding a payment method is what starts CI on the private ones.
How do I pay, and to whom?
SEPA direct debit or card, invoiced in euro by Pillion Ltd, with VAT handled under the reverse charge where it applies.
